Erin Fitzgerald, Senior Director at JLL was part of the team that sold the first office building to trade in downtown Minneapolis since the start of the pandemic. Hempel Real Estate purchased the 30-story LaSalle Plaza office building from Northwestern Mutual for $46 million. The 620,000-square-foot property, located at 800 LaSalle Avenue, sold for $74 per square foot. The sale, facilitated by brokers Colin Ryan and Erin Fitzgerald of JLL, took place on June 27, 2023. Post-acquisition, Hempel Real Estate plans to invest $20 million in renovations, including amenities like indoor pickleball courts and a rooftop deck.
